Rabobank to Migrate Credit Risk to .NET

Rabobank has tapped Financial Objects plc, to work with the bank in the joint development of a new global counterparty credit risk management system. The project will involve revamping Rabobank’s existing credit risk management system, known as SKY, to the Microsoft .NET platform. The new credit risk system will be delivered to the user community through a Web portal using the latest Microsoft technologies and advanced user interface capabilities.

Growing Romanian Bank to Install SQL Server/.NET-based Treasury System

Volksbank Romania SA (VBR), a growing banking organization based in Romania with over 1,200 employees, and a network of about 140 branches throughout Romania, has licensed Financial Software Systems’ Spectrum Treasury System. Spectrum is built on Microsoft's .NET platform, and is designed around a single database with a single transaction record, thereby eliminating reconciliation errors. In VBR’s case, the Spectrum database will be SQL Server.
